Positioning Core Components
Place core components-such as the welding power source, control system, and water cooling unit-at the designated, level, and well-ventilated workstation. Connect the main power cables and water hoses between the components and ensure proper grounding.

Installing Guide Rails and Actuators
Secure the welding guide rail to the appropriate location on the workpiece (e.g., the outer wall of a pipe or the boom of a welding manipulator), then precisely mount the welding carriage onto the rail and calibrate its position.

Commissioning the Welding Torch and Accessories
Install the hot-wire narrow-gap welding torch and wire-feeding mechanism. Adjust the relative positions of the tungsten electrode and the filler wire to ensure precise wire delivery into the weld pool, and perform a leak test on the water cooling system.

Power-On Verification and Testing
Connect the main power supply and use the control system to test functions-such as carriage travel, wire feeding, hot-wire heating, and gas flow-one by one. Once all parameter feedback is confirmed to be normal, the system is ready for welding operations.
