Key Advantages and Features
Excellent Welding Quality
The inert gas (argon) completely isolates the weld zone from the atmosphere, preventing oxidation and contamination of the arc and molten pool. The resulting welds are free of slag, have virtually zero spatter, and feature a clean, aesthetic appearance with minimal defects. It enables single-sided welding with full penetration (forming a weld bead on both sides) and ensures excellent airtightness.
High Process Versatility
It can weld materials ranging from ultra-thin components (0.1 mm) to thick workpieces (over 10 mm) and supports all-position welding (flat, vertical, horizontal, etc.). It is compatible with the vast majority of metals-including carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum alloys, and titanium alloys-and is particularly well-suited for reactive metals prone to oxidation, such as aluminum and magnesium.
High Controllability
The tungsten electrode is non-consumable, allowing the heat source and filler wire to be controlled independently and heat input to be adjusted flexibly. The arc and molten pool remain visible throughout the process, enabling welders to maintain precise control. The arc remains stable even at low currents, making it ideal for precision welding applications.
Excellent Process Expandability
It can be adapted into various specialized forms-such as pulsed TIG, high-frequency TIG, and orbital automatic TIG-to meet diverse precision and operational requirements, and it is easily integrated into automated systems.
