Define Roles and Responsibilities
Front-line operators: Responsible for daily cleaning and basic pre-shift inspections; must shut down the machine and report immediately upon detecting any abnormalities.
Equipment management department: Oversees plan development, spare parts inventory, and specialized in-depth maintenance; establishes a full lifecycle maintenance record for the equipment, documenting the date, details, and resolution of any faults for each maintenance activity.
Supporting Protocols
Limit continuous welding sessions to a maximum of 30 minutes to prevent equipment overload and premature wear.
Stockpile common consumables-such as tungsten electrodes, ceramic nozzles, and contact tips-in advance to minimize downtime caused by waiting for parts.
Update equipment records immediately after each maintenance session to facilitate the tracking of changes in equipment status over time.
