Routine Basic Maintenance
Cleaning: Remove weld spatter and rust from the equipment surface and welding area after each use; periodically clean out internal dust to prevent short circuits or poor heat dissipation caused by dust accumulation.
Basic Inspections: Check water and gas hose connections before operation to ensure proper supply; after operation, disconnect the power, shut off water and gas supplies, and clean the work area.
Core System Maintenance
Electrical System: Inspect the insulation of cables and connectors (insulation resistance should be ≥1 MΩ); verify reliable grounding of the welding machine casing; check the contact condition of contactors and relays.
Gas System: Ensure unobstructed gas flow; promptly replace damaged hoses; periodically check for gas leaks to prevent disruption of the shielding gas supply.
Cooling System: Check coolant levels and circulation in water-cooled models; prevent condensation from the water circuit from entering the gas circuit and contaminating the tungsten electrode.
Consumable Replacement: Replace contact tips and nozzles based on usage frequency; inspect the clamping status of the torch collet and the insulation performance of the nozzle.
